This year’s fall weather has been one of the most enjoyable that Isaac and I (Mollie) have experienced since we moved back to Bayfield, Wisconsin and bought Seagull Bay Motel in 2017.

The warm days have made it easier to go outside and soak up the colors of the changing leaves, inhale the fresh earthy smells, and look up in awe at the Northern Lights.

Despite this gift of an extended summer, I can’t help but look forward to the cold and snow that’s around the corner. 

There’s a unique charm that fills the air when snow starts to hit the ground. I instantly want to wrap myself in a cozy blanket while watching a movie with my three boys.
